Default Do the Brand of any front/rear strut bar, tie bar, and sway bar matters?

It seems to me like the bars are there just to make the chassis stiffer? My question is...do the size/brand/design of the bars actually make a difference? Because i already have a skunk2 tie bar...and i plan to match all of my strut bars with skunk2. That is unless if the size/design/brand actually matters...
