Do all 96+ hondas have vin on fenders
I always thought that all obd2 hondas had vin numbers on the front fenders and was looking into buying a 96 midori green hatch but it didnt have the vin number stickers on the fenders and it got me worried. But i have been looking around honda tech and it seems like no midori green hatches have the vin stickers. Is this something that came out in 97 or something. please help want to buy this car. thanks

i know that if they were replaced they would not have the sticker but i am trying to see if 96 year models have them to start with. i just looked through autotrader at all 96 civics and none had the stickers but when i looked at 97's they had them. im guessing the vin stickers started in 1997.

a vin number on fenders ive never even heard of it my 96 EK hatch didnt i know that. But thats ok cause i have a 99-00 front now so it looks better than being original.

yeah there is usually a white sticker with the vin on it on the fender where it meets the hood. im guessing this did not start until 97. thanks for the help.
