Default do 88-91 crx axles fit eg's

sorry if its a stupid ? but i need to know, would 88-91 cable d series axels fit a 94 civic w/ d-series hydro tranny

IMO...i dont think they will. i think the spline count is different and it also maybe shorter/longer. you might want to ask this in the EF section for a more accurate answer.

i know for sure HF/STD civic axles won't work

i think DX and Si ones will work

I know for a fact that the driver side 88-91 Si axles work, while the driver's side 88-91 will not work.

I currently run a 92-95 driver's side axle in my 90 hatchback with D16A6 (88-91 Si) engine/tranny in it. I tried the passenger side axle, but the inner joint spline diameter is different.

thankx for the info, i just didn't want to toss good axles if they would work for my car.

Believe me I understand. I hated having to drop the extra $55.00 for a new right axle for my 90 hatchback because the 92-95 one didn't work like the driver's axle did.
