Default Experts! Tell me about a B-series swap on my 95 EJ1

Alright. I did tell myself that I would not ask, but I believe that education is nothing but helpful. Based on what I see and have seen, I'm considering changing up plans, and farming out someone who can do a good job getting a B18 in there. (Notice that, I said, *I* won't be trying it, since even simple tasks can confuse me.) I'm still debating on a YouTube video, since I have to get to a real computer and block some antagonizer posters from reaponding, plus I'm more focused on getting an engine in the Civic than displaying engines for people to crap on....

HOWEVER, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW how doing a "B-swap" into my D car, auto trans, is "EASY." I know people here know, and it can likely avoid me being swindled.

RonJ told me to keep it in GDD, so here it is.

And Antonio is full of ****, so, the H22A swap idea is dead.

If people didn't already know, my car has a mostly dead engine in it that wasn't even supposed to be in there, that starts and moves the car, for limited distances. It's a D15Z1, which likely will be ultimately scrapped, as it's gone to ****, the whole engine. It's an auto trans, I like auto trans. Needs new exhaust too and radiator, but that's minor. 1995 EJ1 Civic, originally D16Z6.

If H-T would like to see how this engine runs, which is more than I can say for the Y8 I have (which also probably runs fine,) then I can out the link viable to *only here* if you want to see, when I do my YouTube edits from somewhere else. Those guys die today, so, I suggest they get their last digs in before 9AM, if they haven't already last night.

I did this when I swapped back in the day

Today, you have YouTube and a TON of resources. If you have time and a few resources (Cherry picker, air tools, ect.), do it yourself.

It's about having no PLACE to fool with it.

What's a helms manual? Do you mean Haynes?

Supposedly, this is a Florida car engine, built with B20 heads and running high compression that wasted an F20B car ?

So. Now, to hear it rowrrr...

I'm going to hear this thing run and fire up, I'm omw

To make the swap work, I have to sell the Y8 I presently have, and line up someone to basically use their stuff and do it for me. I can assist and watch..

Anything I should look for?

It's "Easy" in the sense that it's a parts swap and it's inexpensive.

You're supposed to "keep it in GDD." Ok. That's fine. You can still search the stickies in the 92-00 forum and put together a list of what you need.

Axles from X
ECU from Y
T-mount (or is it the trans mount) from Z
Engine
Exhaust

Don't sell your Y8. Don't give that problem to someone else.

That is a good idea, rather than relying on the trash and trolls in here who are just as likely to provide deliberate dis-information.

That's just sad. It's a good point to research it, but that's sad.

Yeah, they're throwing temper tantrums and screaming in the store. Like a bunch of priviliged and spoiked Lexus-driving yuppies that are just "too cool.." And dumb as ****. Ive gotten good at spotting misinformation.. it started when someone told me what a word "meant" that didnt, followed by baiting, then yesterday i think a member was insincere as to KTFLM. (I say that because they went radio silent again after that.. Troll style.) I think I'd be a bad parent by not giving in. Hairy vaginas, the lot of them.

In any case, my budget and lack of money relegated me to drop the fo fiddy and do the Y8, let the guy do it, since crackhead assembled my car and I had to break away from them.. skilled hands this time..

Your just like every other person in 92-00 wanting to be spoon fed.

Go figure it out! Because I can assure you it's been documented a million times

Wait. Does it still have an towel inside?

This engine swap will never happen

Either because W95derp is either too poor to pay someone to swap it for him or too dumb to actually swap it himself

Well, we know for a fact he can't do a b20 swap. There's no way he's gonna figure out how to swap a b18a/b intake onto it. Not without shoveling towels into the cylinders.

True, it's called searching and utilizing the FAQ.

You can't post things on an open forum and expect everyone to be fully on your side of things especially when you ignore the advice you seek. You're reputation is well known on here already.

You're never focused on anything worthwhile and if you're having someone else do the swap for you then what exactly are you saying you'll be focused on?

Again, it's called searching and utilizing the FAQ. Have you even done this yet? And again, if you're having someone else do this why are you worried about it? Let them handle it.

To be honest, not too bad. How bout yourself?

Anyways, if you want to skip all of that, I was basically saying if you're going to have someone else do the work for you then what's the point of making the videos? Previously you were doing it (or at least in the beginning) as an aide for many of us to help you out but then it evolved into something entirely different. So without it being an aide, what's the point?

I actually do agree with you, 24TEN.

There is about an 80% chance the car will have the Y8 in it by Friday night.

I'm going to get crackin' to nail that down.

I also didnt destroy the Blazer.

Oh. And how you like my new avatar?

Information, disinformation, misleading information, wrong information, incomplete information, uninformation.

W95 is info-proof. He's under no threat from any type of information.
