Default DIY Rear Trailing Arm Bushing

I know this has been beaten to death for bushing replacements such as Mugen, ES, and Prothane, but has anyone done a DIY bushing on the rear trailing arms. By that I mean with motor mounts people are using a hard adhesive to "fill in" the motor mounts to stiffen them up and I was thinking why not for the rear trailing arms. It would still alow some movement of the bushing much like stock but stiffen it up to resist the sloppy feeling worn ones have.? Anyone have an opinion.?

I checked with the dealer they are like $60 for both bushings new from Honda. Just run a search on HT in archives for "bushing" if you want to replace. There is a thread that lists the part no.# for a TSB on "clunking" rear suspension.

I replaced mine with Energy Suspension trailing arm bushings. Cost me $26 shipped for the bushings and did the work my self....Out of all the work i've done on my car this is by far the most pain in the *** job ever!!..lol

If you want to fill them go to home depot or lowe's and pick up some 3M window weld or they also sell polyurethane in a tube. But it needs to sit overnight to set right.....it's a messy job too! Some have taking the whole trailing arm off to fill them and put it in the oven or on a grill to speed the process for the poly to set, if you have any more q's hit me up...later, Matt
