ok people say that you really don't need a rear camber kit, all you need is some washers, what are they talking about? washers where? I have an ej1 and have it slammed, I got a good camber kit in the front but now it's time to do the back, but people say use the washer trick, I have no idea what they are talking about, pics would really help

The earthlink one is my favorite, i used it for my first few camber corrections for reference on the bolt size etc.

yeah it did work, haven't token any pics of it yet but heres an old *** pic of the front without the front camber kit, oh and I used two washers on each bolt

The links posted is 7 years old, bound to be gone.

The washer trick is for rear camber not front. Hondas have adjustable camber in front, not the rear on these older cars.

The clubcivic one had some info and some of the other links that google currently brings up may give you direction.

And since this rear camber thread got dredged up, lets see if we can get some current info in it.....

I've heard most of the "rear camber kits" you see on cheap-bay are garbage, they bind up or break being cheap lightweight aluminum etc.

Does anyone know who makes a strong high quality camber kit for 5th and 6th gen civics?

If I can find a good quality one, I wouldn't mind adding it to my hatchback just for added control.

and for the washer trick works great better then any cheap ebay ****
but u can't adjust -camber with it

and for the front tomorrow i'm gonna try to diy camber

btw is it better to have -camber? i don't care about the tires,i mean for stability

Oh okay, I just assumed the fronts were fully adjustable. That puts a damper on my tire wear issue on the front.

So looks like quality camber kit for the back and a high quality set of fully adjustabe upper control arms for the front are in order.

Thanks for the heads up, and thanks for the brands bswapped.

Looks decent turtle but doesn't say the material its made from, don't mind the weight of steel for the added durability.

I compared some cheap ebay rear camber kit next to the hardrace ones. Everything was identical except the hardrace ones has better bushings.

Check out AMR camber kits if you are going for quality.

I've been running with the washer trick for years. It's great for degree or so, but any more than that and I would look into an adjustable arm.
