Will a 14" stock civic steel rims DX fit rear disk setup.
Hello
I was planning to do a rear disk swap on a 1998 civic hatch DX.
I might be from a integra or 99-00 Civic SI
and I was wondering if a stock steel rim 14" will clear the rear disk setup.
Thanx

thanx 4 the info.
I need new brakes for the rear so i rather do the swap to disk.
and now knowing that the 14" will fit save me some money from buying rims & tires.

As far as the rears go you can run 13s. If you're using civic EX/Si or Integra front brakes you'll need at least 14s on the front.

You will clear 14" rims in the rear with 00 si disc, but if you got 00 si brake setup on the front then 14's wont clear.

OK i'm really confused on the front brakes. so will a 14" fit in the front??
I checked online and i didn't see any difference in part #
I compaired the following models from rotor, caliper assembly, knuckle, ect..
2000 civic SI front brake m/t
1999 civic SI front brake m/t
1999 civic EX front brake m/t or auto non abs
1998 civic EX front brake m/t or auto non abs
so ex or si model auto or manual 1998-2000 are same front brake assembly.
correct me if i'm wrong.

14" steelies will clear in the front, a lot of base model RS Integras and all EX civics came with 14" steel wheels. At least some 14" Alloys (including the HX) don't clear without using wheel spacers or grinding down the front calipers.
