DIY exhaust mainfold porting????

anyone evertaken the time to do this. i have a spare EM and thought it might be a good winter project. somthing to do in spare time.
anyone everheard good or bad things from it???
I'm not looking for big HP #'s just a little extra from the stock stuff.
