Be sure to unfasten all the bolts underneath, then push up from the bottom, pry from the top, and the airbag will snap out.
Then I pried with a couple of screwdrivers and chisels to get the top off, and set the top back on where it was.

tnx 4 reply . Back then, brother and I finnaly drop that mr. airbag out of the dashboard. maybe it was one of the stupidest things done to my car but fu*k it, it's my first car and project car as well, so why not. Well these days i will cleaned up the interior and installed a canadian-spec tray in my ej9. oh and just for info: i waited 2 fully months (almost 3) for delete tray from the Honda dealer.

Hello. I have been trying to get my passenger airbag out. The problem i have is there seem to be two screws holding in the cover at the top to the dash. I cant reach these with any screw driver due to the dash bar and air duct pipe in the way. Any ideas. thanks.

1.just remove 3 nuts showned on photo as a "stars"
2. disconect srs plug.
3. pull out the aribag with one hand from the bottom and use your other hand for a screwdriver with a cloth on it to prevent any damage to your dash on the top.
its kinda tricky for a first time but you can't go wrong if you follow 5lugSlug tutorial.

Thank you very much for this, now i can see ware the screws are that i thought that was holding the top part of the air bag tray in, are not part of it.
