ummm i will be the first to say search, but the easiest and proabaly the best way to do it is get a mendrel bend tube and cut it to the angle u would like and get it in a diameter you would like and then put a filter on it and get some silicon connectors and put that biatch on

I have a pic but I don't have a host. I can email it to you if you want. Let me know. Basically, all I did on my friend's car was run a flexible hose from Autozone from the front of the bumper up through the intake opening and connected to the filter.

my apologizes....
I forgot to mention... I did search.... quite a bit actually.. .I just was looking for straight EK's, etc. etc.
I pretty much have an idea setup for what I want to do. But sometimes other people have better and more useful ideas, that I can intgrate with mine.

I would think that is a track only thing considering it's kinda illegal to run without a head light on the street.

obviously it is not for daily driving. do a search, headlight rams are great for the track only. although some say they dont do much, they jump up your mph. for the non believers look at any full all motor drag car and they are all running open hog pipes. iceman did them for 92-95 civics but discontinued them, then another member on here made them for egs and eks not sure where to get them now, email the owner of that car http://www.sigma-auto.org
i did one for my integra using a dremel and spare headlight

Seriously, the 1+ day and 50+ dollars you spend on it isn't worth the 1 horsepower you get out of it</TD></TR></TABLE>
What are you talking about? It cost me a couple of bucks from Autozone and not even an hour to set mine up. Granted, even if the HP and TQ gains aren't that high, please don't give false info that would deter others from attempting this mod.

Re: (jL iLLuZiOnz 9)
how deep are the puddles you have been driving through?
you would have to submerge the front end of your car completely if you were gonna hydrolock with that setup!
and as someone stated those are for track use only, and are intented as somekind of ram-air.

my buddy (97 b16 coupe) cut a hole where the 99s have the fog lights and ran dryer hose to the spot where the stock airbox sat. the short ram sits right above that. so no chance of hydrolock and direct air flow. he claims to notice a difference at higher speeds.

That actually was my plan... But i didn't really feel like cutting into my stock bumper.

Thats impossible, the filter alone costs $20...

That's assuming he doesn't have a filter already which is what I'm assuming since he asked about ppl routed cool/cold air to the intake itself. Still, including the cost of a filter at $20, the air duct at like $12 or so, you're still only down $30 or less and it shouldn't take you all day to set it up.
