DIY: 92-95 EH/EG/EJ Low fuel sender installation and wiring
Well this will be my first DIY, so bear with me...
This will guide you through installing a JDM/USDM low fuel sender into a USDM 92-95 EH2/3 Civic Hatchback, the installation should be the same for other bodies, but I don't know if the low fuel sender is the same P/N.
What you will need:
USDM low fuel sender P/N 37800-S04-305
1 pin from cluster connector
1 male/1 female pin from standard Honda connector
1 large female pin
RED/GRN stripe wire(parking brake wire from 92-95 civic)
JDM/EDM cluster with low fuel light or modify your USDM cluster
I'm not going to go into detail for removing cluster, back seats and replacing USDM fuel sender with low fuel sender, but they need to be removed and new low fuel sender need to be installed.
You are basically running one wire from Pin A7 at the cluster back to Pin 3 in the fuel sender connector. But I like to try and keep everything nice and clean, so I ran the wire through the blue connector at the top left of the fuse box for a cleaner install.
Well there you have it, if you did it correctly, then your low fuel light should work, if not check all your connections.
You can test the low fuel light by jumping Pin 1 and 3 on the fuel sender connector, turn the key on and low fuel light should come on.
Feedback welcome, but keep in mind this is my first DIY and I can adjust anything you feel lacking or needs more attention.
Special thanks need to go to Deschlong for his help and diagrams.
Thanks,
Tim

Most JDM and EDM clusters, but not all, be cautious. The one I installed is a EDM EG6 VTi cluster.
But you can also modify your USDM cluster, like in this thread:

Added to my IE favorites. I'll be doing this once I get an actual cluster rather than my garbage stock one with no tach.

I finally got around to wiring mine but used the up-shift arrow on my cluster since I have a vx. I jumped it so I know it works just waiting for the tank to get low.

Re: DIY: 92-95 EH/EG/EJ Low fuel sender installation and wiring
Just bought a UKDM cluster for my CRX which has a low fuel light. Do you or anyone else happen to know if the sender you used (part number above) is usable on my car. I have a USDM 1988 CRX SI and I replaced my fuel level and fuel pump last year. Any help would be much appreciated.
