Distributor/Vtec Problem?
My engine got wet, Now Vtec does not engage or work at all, and has been giving me this Code:
(TDC Sensor (Top Dead Center) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor).
What do I need to replace to fix it?
Distributor, or just the cap?
What kind of damage could this have done to my engine if you rev past 5000 and vtec isn't working?
Also how would koni yellows on stock si springs be would it lower any? Would I still use my skunk 2 front/rear camber kit to have perfect alignment/no tire wear?

You washed the engine without unhooking the battery silly
The TDC sensor is in the dizzy itself, either replace the internals of the dizzy, or just replace the whole dizzy. VTEC will not work if you throw engine codes related to basic engine functionality or timing issues. VTEC will work after you install a working dizzy.
Absolutley do not run that engine until you replace that sensor, currently your ECU has no idea what your pistons/crank are doing!

That's a joke, right? I never disconnect my battery when I wash my engine/engine bay.

I killed my girlfriend's alternator the same day we bought her car with engine degreaser
Her alternator sits directly in front compared to our civics where are alternators are in the back. Stupid me didn't cover the alternator. O well, $30 bucks for another alternator at the junk yard the same day was awesome.
And I've also never had to disconnect the battery for an engine washing. That isn't needed.
