Default Distributor Questions??

Well, I'm planning to do a Mini-Me. Only thing is I was wondering, I bought the D16Z6 head from a friend, but now I need a dizzy. Will the D15b7 "TD-41" dizzy work or do I have to have the D16Z6 "TD-42" dizzy? Cause I accidentally bid on the wrong dizzy and I don't think anyone is gonna outbid me.

I hacked up the mounting points on my b7 dizzy, and it seems to work fine.

However, there was a thread on d-series.org a little while ago indicating that it will not work due to the CYP sensors (I don't know enough to elaborate). He said even though it may seem to run perfectly, it's not. As far as I know, nothing has been confirmed yet.

The bottom line is that you can physically drive the car with a b7 dizzy.

well, I got a 91 EF, but I'm doing an OBD1 conversion on it and a Mini-me swap. I have one dizzy that says TC-08A and I'm not quite sure that will work or not. I'm hoping that it will, it seems to mount up right. I'm doing the swap tomorrow morning and hopefully it will work and I won't run into any problems so I can get this thing running.

just look at the bolt pattern on the motor and look at the bolt pattern on the dizzy. it also depends on what harness you have. when you are saying an "obd1 conversion on it" does that mean you are changing the engine harness altogether, or just getting a jumper harness??
