distributor question

Default distributor question

is there such thing as a obd2b and a obd2a distributor? the plugs are diff but im wondering if the hwole thing would be diff. the motor was obd2a wired but now that i gotta use it with obd2b do i have to change the whole distributor or can i cut the wires on the plugs and swap that with the one that fits for a obd2b plug? if confused let me know so i can try to explain it a little better

The OBD2b distributors lack the blue tach output wire. Yes you can use your OBD2a distributor, re-wired with the OBD2b plug.
