Default Distributor on my civic.

I have a distributor on my civic that i am trying to sell. I looked at the distributor and engraved was td 31u which is for honda accord 1990-1991 2.2l. I have a 1993 civic cx. Now this distributor was taken off my 1.5l engine and works on my car. It ran ok too me. So i guess they are interchangeble right?

So is it bad to have the wrong distributor for you car. I mean it worked on my car. I really don't want to get any negatiive feedback on ebay if i sell it and it does not work properly.

Yep. Do you think whoever had my civic before used the accord metal part(don't know what it is really called) and just switched the black housing part from another honda civic distributor?

I am very sure man.. A 41u(which it is suppose to be) and 31u don't look too much a like.

My civic did run and it was very slow. I think that was because it has 70 horses though.
