Disconnecting the axels from the tranny

Well, I'm currently in the midst of my first engine swap. Got all the harnesses and hoses unhooked easily enough (doesnt take long with 2 ppl and my friend has experience), radiator out, drained, whatnot. Anyways, I want it to be ready to pull tomorrow, so I only have to take a hoist out for 1 day. I can't figure out how to remove the axels from the tranny though, and currently I don't have a helms manual. Just wonderin' if anyone could fill me in.

they just pop out dude
stick a crowbar or prybar between the housing and the axle and pop em out.

crowbar, prybar, big screwdriver. just pop em off.

BTW replace the seals while youre at it

1. Unbolt the two bolts for the upper control arm (the bolts are inside the engine bay on the front and back of the shock tower).
2. Then disconnect the bottom of the shock from the fork that goes around the driveshaft (bolts to the lower control arm).
3. Also unbolt the tie rod (connects to the steering rack) from the steering knuckle I believe its called.
4. After that, the whole brake assembly should pull out of the way (assuming you already removed the huge ass nut on the driveshaft).
5. From there just pull on the driveshaft to get it out.

Remove the red bolts on this hackjob diagram.

use a pry bar screw driver, what ever you got for leverage. turn and pull, and pry at the same time.. there is a ring on the axel that lock it.. you need to wiggle it a bit.
