DISC BRAKE CONVERSION - gs-r discs to put on 96 LX Civic
Heyyo,
I am looking into upgrading to the 4 wheel discs and beefier brakes of the gs-r (getting alloys so discs are a must). I was just wondering if anyone has done this conversion and what problems have come up. If I could get a list of things I am going to need to do at the same time, as well as parts I need to have to pull it off...it would be super...or let me know if its a bad idea.
Thanks...help is appreciated!
Rusty

Yes, it's been done a bunch of times. Check the FAQ thread for how to-s. I know I did one on 4x114.3 ITR brakes, but it's the same deal.

Where do I find this FAQ?
Also...will this change my lug spacing/can I still use 13" wheels?

At the top of the EG+ forums page. The bolt pattern is still 4x100. The 13" rims won't clear the calipers. You'll need to run 15" rims with a recommended offset of +40 to +45
