Dilemma...C1 now or C5 (much) later?...

Dilemma...C1 now or C5 (much) later?...
I have come to a crossroads...at the moment I have accumulated enough $$$ to drop on a B18C1 within the next couple of weeks. And being the impacient hoe that I am ...I can't decide whether I want to go ahead and get a C1 now...or hold out and get a B18C5 later on (basically it would realistically take me another 6 months or so to come up with sufficient funds for the swap ). I realize this isnt that long of a period to wait, but my only issue is I'm somewhat afraid that the money that I have right now will slowly be chipped away at by smaller financial leeches...
So I guess the question is:
-B18C1 now, with possible build up or FI in the future or B18C5 later on down the road, while most likely leaving it stock internally?
thnx for any opinions, suggestions, or flames
btw: It's going in a daily driver

I say C5. I went with a C1 and I regret it. for a few hundred more you get:
LSD
shorter gears
better cams and head
lighter flywheel
better built block.

Cody:
You know what I think. I've had both. If there's some lame stuff to sift through in a while then I guess I'll have to type up a long, drawn out reasoning on why the B18C5 would be the better choice.
I'll give you a hint:
http://www.hondamotorsonline.com
B18C1 - $3,300.00
B18C5 - $4,800.00
Can you replicate a B18C5 for only $1,500.00? Don't forget the LSD-equipped and shorter-geared tranny too!
You all should know the answer to that.

If you think you are absolutely sure you can get a C5 down the road, its worth the wait. There only several thousand C5s running around the US and its always bought by some bastard before the insurance company even finds out the car was wrecked.
Anyway, from a cost point of view, to get the B18c1 to be like a c5, you would need
1. C5 cams
2. Intake manifold
3. LSD
Adding the three parts above to the cost of the C1 will be more than a stock c5. So in the end, the c5 is a better deal. (if u can find one).
Another thing to consider is cost now vs cost in the future. With the C1s being popular, there are several companies that are selling them for $5,000. These same companies used to cell C1s @ $3,500. This means people are fighting to get B18C1s and salvage yards are making a killing.
Hope this helps.

Thnx for the input, You definitly have a point.
and I think Tom summed it up for the most part:
Can you replicate a B18C5 for only $1,500.00? Don't forget the LSD-equipped and shorter-geared tranny too!
You all should know the answer to that.
thnx
