diffrence between hx and ex
what are diffrences between hx dizzys and ex dizzys i have a ex head with a hx dizzy was working fine untill i shaved the head 20 mills took it to autozone so they could do the obd2 test and it says i am misfiring in cylinders 2,3,4 what could cause this thinking it is the dizzy but dont know. this is what i have
new spark plugs
8.5 new wires
new rotor button
new dizzy cap
wilco fuel pump(would this be the prop sense before i had ITBs on and now have factory manifold back on)

If the bold, red text means you shaved 20 millimeters off the head, that's a problem. If you took 20 thousandths off the head - a more normal amount to be sure - that's probably STILL your problem.
What the expletive makes you think it's the distributor when you've fucked around with the head shape and compression of the motor? Do you have tuning or datalogging to determine the temperature or air/fuel you're getting? Are you running high enough octane for the bump in compression? Are you mentally retarded?
All this and more on the next Maury.
