Default Differences in gas mileage between S and SI Sols

I currently drive an S Sol, and am considering getting an SI. I like the high gas mileage I get with my S though, and was wondering how much I should expect to lose. I'm a conservative driver, and keep it well maintained, so I get around 40mpg. With gas prices skyrocketing, I don't want to get a car that's cost me substantially more in fuel costs.

I know everyone's car, mods, and driving style is different, but those here with an SI Sol, what kind of mileage do you get?

Wow, that's a lot less of a difference than I'd always expected of the del sols. Of course they don't match their predecessors possibilities but they are still a nice car. I would say stick with the S myself but you can mod the Si a little bit to get it back up to at least the same as the S, if that is a concern for you.

no delsol but my 92 SI hatch with D16Z6 gets 39-41mpg, 125k miles on it, short ram intake, high flow cat, stock headers, and RSR-exmag exhaust, and everything is tuned up, I mean everything I replaced honda OEM, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, fuel filter, PCV, valve adjustment, timing, anything I could get my hands on maintance wise, and it runs like a top even in her old age..and the Z6 is a great platform, reliable, easy to work on, turbo it down the road, whatever you wanna do.
