differences between bare y7 and y8 head
i'm looking to buy a spare head which i will be putting in a whole new valvetrain and I am wondering if the y7 head flows any different (the head itself, not the internal parts)

From reading around (This is not my infomation) the y7 flows better than the y8. I don't think there is any hard fact to prove it.
