Default Difference in Suspensions. and a few other questions (btw already looked @ faq)

ok.. i just looked throught the FAQ and found nothing about this... is there a difference in the suspension in s 96 DX Hatch and a CX hatch??? what are the main differnces other than stuff like cup holders.... i would assume the DX has A/C and thats it... no power anything. and the CX would have power everything... is that the only differnce... reason im asking is because even though i truely do not like hondas its seems as though thats the only thing im gonna be able to get in my area. probably a 92-00 hatch but i really HATE how the 92-95 looks.

i am probably going to be REEMED for this but what is the most strait foward swap going from the D16? ive always thought that a B16A1 woulndt be to hard as long as you got everything from the donor car am i correct? how crazy can you go with a B16 before haveing to get Hondata or Emanage? does a Vtec controller REALLY do anything or just let you screw up your vtec engagement and let you lean out and blow your motor?

one of my main reasons for wanting a B16 powerd hatch is becaue my friend got a 91 Hatch with a B16A1 with everything but a new intake manifold and it felt REALLY quick... and even seemed to have something that ive never felt in a honda.... TORQUE!!!! i would imagine that this is increased even more with a B18C1 or even C5 and even MORE so if you were to do a CRVtec...

considering im coming from a Mid-Engined Car would this setup be a good comparison and keep some traction? B16A1 DC-Sport Long tube header, VictorX intake, Toda Cams, etc. and some Rota Slipstreams(hey they are REALLY cheap and light too) and some Dunlop Sport A2s for traction. i figure that a full interior civic hatch without the sound deadening stuff and useless stuff will weigh about 2500-2600 with driver and from what ive heard i can make about 220hp and about 170lb-ft so that would put me in the mid 13's with a 22mpg civic correct...

if i am wrong in any of this... i know a fair amount about honda products... mainly enough to get me in trouble.... but i am still learning. i have to get used to technology. the motor thats in my car was designed in 1973 and finally got fuel injection in 85 gotta love those v6 fieros

TTT for the morning crowd.... this would be greatly appreciated... oh and how much of a difference if i were to put slipstreams with some sticky 215's and got some Tein Lowering Springs and 5-way adjustables? i would think that along with a new set of sway bars would do wonders. am i right?

looks as to be a good read... ill try to find it in my area if i even get a civic... im just tired of looking for cars... all i can find are civics and i dont know why. i would really rather have 5.0 or a camaro or firebird but none of them are worth a crap anymore. they are all either turned into drag cars or are half done project cars... thanks for the link to the book btw. hopefully if i get a hatch then i will see if some of the local Greenvill Guru's can help
