Default ls/vtec options

i can get a ls block from a friend. i was thinking about getting the ls block, getting a gsr head, and putting higher compression pistons and a gsr crank. i also dotn know if i should do the gsr intake mani or the skunk 2. what are your opinions and inputs? what kinda power do u think i can make. o

Stick with the LS crank, the LS block is taller than the GS-R block.

X2 on keeping the ls crank. Definitely get rid of the stock pistons unless you plan on turbo ls/vtec. If the head comes with the gsr intake mani I would just keep that, if not though might as well upgrade while your at it. As far as power goes it depends on what you do to it. Cams, compression ratio of pistons, etc...
