Default Difference between Greddy EVO and EVO2

My friend wants to sell me his Greddy exhaust, but it is kind of old and he doesn't remember if it is the EVO or the EVO2 exhaust. Is there any way I can look at the muffler or the piping and find out if it is the new EVO2 or the older non-stainless EVO?

I think the evo2 has the ofset tip. The evo is center. To me there is no difference really .. I never noted a diff in performance.

Default Re: Difference between Greddy EVO and EVO2 (SilentEdge)

Both the EVO and the EVO2 have the offset tip, the only difference between the two is the stainless piping up to the mufler on the EVO2.

To tell the difference between the two: The EVO has a coating on the piping to prevent rust, the EVO2 does not have or need this coating as a result of the stainless piping.
