Never heard of an EX-G. Although, I know EX is the top model when it comes to trim and engine size and what not.

Thats what Im trying to figure out, Ive seen it for several years on the Civics, so I dont think there is a specific year.

I searched for it on google.com and looked at the options.. They only thing I noticed that was different is that the sedans have split folding rear seats. Now, I'm not familiar with Ferios, so they may already have this.

I think this is correct, when I was doing research on them.. I could only find them in Canada.

I think they started using the ex-g, si-g monikers in 99 when the SiR (in Canada) came out. I have no idea why other than it differentiated the SiR model a little more from the standard models. They are still sticking the g onto model names here in Canada on current civics.
Mine is a '98 Si coupe, which is the American EX. Canada already had an Si model when the American Si came out in '99.
