difference between a ex cat from a 99 and an si?

Default difference between a ex cat from a 99 and an si?

i cant find anything posted of this so i made a thread i did search but nothing came up, i need to know if there is a difference between an ex cat and a si cat? the part that connects to the header

Just checked the part numbers for the cat.
Exact same number for the EX and Si.

so than that meants the i have a 99 civic ex, and i have the b18 in there, the headers are too short so i had to get an extension welded in there. so that means that if i get some si headers they will bolt up and reach perfectly then right?
