Default Difference between B16A and B18C1 Intake Manifolds?

Does anyone know what the difference is between the B16A and B18C1 intake manifolds? I have a B16A and I've noticed plenty of aftermarket GSR intake manifolds for cheap. I assume the manifolds are different, but how so? Larger plenum volume? Longer runners maybe? If my long term intentions include boosting, which manifold has the highest potential for gains and why?

gsr and b16 manifolds are not interchangable.. they have different bolt patterns..

Also, GSR manifolds are designed for more low-end torque, thus why they have that funky look to them, the stock ones atleast

I'm not sure what you mean by "funky look to them" but in general longer runners should contribute to a plenum tuned for low-end torque. I'd be interested if anyone has a picture of the two intakes lined up next to each other - just so we can all see the differences directly.

Not sure what there is to look at.

Larger Plenum + Shorter Runners = High end Power.
Smaller Plenum + Longer Runners = Low end Torque.

Quite simple.

A) Bolt patterns on the GSR and the B16A aren't the same.
B) The GSR has the secondary butterfly (IAB) and the B16 does not.

The B16 is designed for all upper end hp. The GSR is designed for mid-to-upper end power. It's a less "race needed" engine and the intake is designed like so.
