Difference in 96-98 and 99-00 Civic front end
Hi
I own a 1993 Honda del sol which i purchased last year, the car had been previously moded with a body kit consisting of an EVO6 front end. Recently my car was backed into and the front end recieved major damage and needs to be replaced, unfortunatly when i bought the car i didnt think to ask what front end i was recieveing, I either have the 96-98 or 99-00 civic front end but cannot tell the difference between the two models, if anybody out there has a way i could figure this out i would be grateful. Thanks

Are you freakin serious? How hard is it to tell the difference between these two front ends? Not the best pictures, but look at the bumper, look at the grille, look at the headlamps.

If your corners on the lights are blurry you have a 96-98, if they're completely clear then you have a 99-00.

It's just funny how people dont read anything. In the original question this guy asks how he can tell if his car has a 99-00 or 96-98 front end, but he also mentioned how the car has a body kit.
Those two guys that I made the replies to, both posted differences between the front ends that would only be valid if the car was using the stock (96-98 or 99-00) front bumper.

He has a delsol with 99-00 or 96-98 front end but instead of stock bumper he has a body kit... His car got into an accident so now he needs parts (maybe headlights) and needs to know what front end (99-00 or 96-98) was installed in his car so he can get the right parts.
