It's the same ****...USDM comes clear lenses while the JDM comes with yellow lenses. The wiring is exactly the same. I'd say get the USDM ones and PAINT EM!! (yea yea it's kinda ghetto, but hey! far away no difference at all!! haha) 8)

Same light, different colored lens. You could pick up some krylon stained glass yellow paint followed by some clear UV protection clear spray and turn your cheap USDM's into JDM ones.

YES!!! you have to drive through the mountains of vermont late at night when it is 30 deg and 95% humidity... it is near zero visibility... the JDM fogs AND amber H4's might be sufficiant

USDM ones are raybrigs too just not a yellow lens.... so if a yellow lens is worth 200 bucks more power to ya. Personally some piaa ion yellow bulbs for 50 bucks is a much better deal.

Yes, the bulbs are interchangable. The only difference between US and JDM is the color of the lens. You can use a PIAA ion bulb in the USDM or just paint the lens yellow if the color is a concern.

I live in the northeast, and have to deal with fog too, and if you're really concerned about fog performance and visibility, you should think about a set of PIAAs. The OEM are a refractor lens, and spray light everywhere (just like the headlamps) and they just cause glare in a fog situation.

I have the OEM on my car to provide more light output, but for foggy conditions, I have a set of PIAA hidden in my lower grill. They work because it's a projecter type lens, with an extremely sharp cutoff to put light where you need it and reduce glare in fog conditions. I'm sure I'll get flamed for advising against OEM, but if you're really concerned about visibility (as I am) you should seriously consider other options; or do both like I have
