Hey, i just bought a '97 civic 2.0i TD.

Apparently this is rare. Heynes don't do book for it. I dont have any tech info about this.

I've been doin a lot of readin on this and other forums. I have learnt a lot about moddin, but i need to know wot i have already? Eg. is the injection mechanical or chip; plus wiring diagrams and stuff?

Does any1 know if i get the book for the petrol model of this car will most of it hold true in my model?

Can any1 help.

Do you own the five door hatch or the five door wagon (Aerodeck)?

Both of these cars are primarily European cars, so a lot of sites won't have too much information on them.

The 2.0i TD models have either the 20T2R2N or the 2CT2R13N, both GM engines IIRC. I believe this is the same engine referred to as the "Circle L".

The chassis were built by Rover.

As far as I know, the 2.0i TD has the same body and electronics, etc as any other five door or Aerodeck, but pretty different from any normal Civic coupe, (3-door) hatch or sedan.

I've posted some photos in other threads, but I'll have to wait until I get off of work to post anything more.

Re: (NOFX)

thanks for replies.

don't know about aerodeck, never heard that term before.

I would have called it a saloon or coupe.

But it's definitely not a hatchback, so it must be the Aerodeck

All help is greatly appreciated.

Just looked at another thread of an Aerodeck and my car does not look like that!

The 5-door is kind of a notch-back saloon. It still technically has a hatch, so it counts as a 5th door.

The Aerodeck is a traditional wagon.

It's funny, I hear comments like this every time a European model ever gets posted, LOL.

People need to broaden their spectrum of knowledge outside the USA and Type R's. People think Japan got all the cool shit .... Europe has 10x the dealer options for Honda's.

Re: (Eran)

thanks, so mine is technically a hatchback. Though it doesn't look like what I would call a hatchback. It's definitely not a Wagon (Estate in UK).

i really am a noob. can any1 recommend some good sources of info. thanks for the engine codes, but they are lost on me, i don't know what to do with them, my searches have turned up very little.

I'm not thick https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif just need pointing in the right direction, please, if any1 has anything that might be helpful. links, books, eshops...
