didnt want to resort to this but....
Alright, I am in school for automotive, but my school is all about American muscle... So all the questions i have i cant get from them.. lame. Alright im going to be starting my build in about a week... NOW i no when you get new cams you need to get new lifters because of the wear.. but what kind of lifters do civics use? im going to be building up a d16y8 with a mild turbo set up, im going to do cams pistons etc, but when i replace the cam am i going to have to get new lifters? sorry i no this is a noob question.. Also i did search and nothing on lifters, and google sucks also. im looking to do like 10psi and hopefully get over 200whp out of it...thanks in advanced.

you can take the motor apart and just freshen it up with new gaskets and seals, and make sure all the internals are functional. toss in some arp head studs and you're pretty much good to go. you can hit your goal of 200whp on a stock motor with a tune.
