Default Did a search...Need help on late night project quick!!(Cluster removal)

Its a 1997 4dr DX (EJ6), I took the two scews off at the top, is that all there is? Feels like something is holding it back but I can't find any screws. TIA

Pull harder on the black surrounding.

After you get that off, there are 3 screws holding the actual cluster in.

pull from the bottom of the bezel (put yor thumbs between the bezel and the wheel column) and pull.

and then there are 4 screws and 4 plugs (electronics)

yeah, it seems REALLY tight the first time taking it off, but it comes off like a piece of cake every time after. It's just the factory glue making it stick at first. You'll get it.

I got it, broke the two clips at the bottom though. Its wedged in there so tight it still doesn't matter. If it starts to rattle, I'll just super glue the clips back on.(couldn't find any tonight)

Anyways, I wasn't gettin' as close to the redline as I thought. Where I was shifting before, it was at 6000rpm, I had a full 800 left!!
