did a pull and lost some lights. fuse blows.
i have a 93 civic hatch si with a poor mans type r (stock) swap, and i did a pull tonight, 1st to second, slammed it into 2nd and when the car jerked and hooked up all my gauge cluster lights, running lights, lisense plate bulb light, oem fog lights, etc went out. I checked the fuse and its blow. whenever i put in a new one it blows. its a 10amp fuse by the way. I tried unplugging the dim gauge switch, rear running lights, and fogs, and then tried again and fuse still blows. What other things in my car does this fuse go to so i know other stuff i can unplug to find out what is shorted.

did you try disconnecting the battery so your not gettin power? you might have a short somewhere that blowin the fuse so kill the power then try it.

ya obviously theres no power without the battery. I mean make sure when your replacing the fuse theres no power going to it because you could be shorting out somewhere and if the power is grounding out somewhere other than where its sposed to then the fuse will blow to make sure your not blowing other things. Just a suggestion figured id throw it out there. Or try a higher amperage fuse and see if that works.

im just goin to unplug things that fuse goes to and see which is causing the short, then find the wires and follow them till i find the short. i dont want to use a higher amprage fuse cuz it can cause a fire.
