Did I pay too much for my car?
2001, Civic EX, 2 door, spoiler, 27k miles, leather, brushed aluminum, automatic, premium sound, power sunroof, 100k bumper to bumper warranty, honda certified for 13,200 dollars.....
I was wondering if this sounded fair. I realize I paid a little more for the leather but I was wondering what you guys thought......

Re: Did I pay too much for my car? (Yeehaw)
I have a completely blew out my right shoulder in a rugby game. My old stang was a manula and it was KILLING me. I would shift from 1st, to 2nd, to 5th. im suppose to have 2 surgeries both with a 3 week period of no movement and physical therapy.
Believe me, I really wanted a manual but it wouldnt have been a wise decision.

Re: Did I pay too much for my car? (Yeehaw)
did you buy it from a dealer or from a private party??
if you bought it from a private party i would say you paid too much... the blue book value is $12,420...
if you bought it from a dealer then you got a good deal.. the blue book value is $14,065
obviously im just going by those numbers becuase i havent actually seen the car but sounds like you paid just about what the car is worth

I bought from a dealer.
I really wanted the warranty because I will be keeping this car for a looong time.
I went by KBB as well and figured 900 dollars of KBB with a warranty was alright.
BTW, the paint is immaculate and the interior is very clean.

yeah I would say it's a good deal do to it's a certified Honda and it comes with a warranty. but Honda's last for ever any ways. it was a fare for the amount.

Sounds Fair. I was looking at one in Northen VA. Almost the same, even same color, no spoiler for $10,000. 21k miles and no warranty.
Also a 2004 VP is going for 12,000 auto.
