Default Did a Compression Test on my 97 b18B LS.

I have a 1997 b18b LS-T w/ aproxx. 130k in my ek and wanted to do a compression test to see how healthy the motor is.

I wasn't expecting much because the motor has been turboed for about 6k.

Here are my results Cyl.4 cyl.3 cyl.2 cyl1.
175 155 150 160

When performing this test I warmed the car to normal temp. then did it.
Didn't do a wet test either.

My concerns is the variance of cyl. 4 compared to the rest, and how low cyl. 2 is 150 seems low.. even for ls.

What do you guys think?

its not that bad. But is/was your valve cover leaking into the spark plug tubes? because this was the case on my car, and one of my cylinders had 10PSI more than it should (considering that my setup should have 125PSI across and one had 135). You should do the check again if the valve cover is leaking.

Just replace the rubber seals inside the valve cover... Theyre only like 2 bucks a piece.

replace the seals only. They are pretty cheap.
