Default Diamond in the Rough

So I went to our local pick'n'pull that just opened about 3 weeks ago and seen a 91 integra with of course, a b18a w/ 5speed. Everything is there and looked to be in decent condition(no holes through block ect..). I decided I would go get it saturday if it was still there but had a few questions. I believe its OBD-1(correct me if I'm wrong) and was wondering if the wiring harness would plug in and play or if I would have to do something to make it work? I thought I recalled reading a post about how in some cases the wiring harness will not plug in at the shock tower?? Anyone have any input on this??

no input on the harness... check out rywire.com dude makes some ob2-ob1 harnesses if thats ob0... im not too sure tho. sorry i cant help much there

but...

how ever thats a cable trans... so you need a hyrdo/cable conversion kit to make it work in a non cable trans car.

Oh **** Im glad you said something That didnt even cross my mind. Thanks for reminding me! See the thing is Im stuck in a crossroad here. I want to turbo since its about the cheapest way for HP, but I could turbo the D, or I could swap a b18a/b and turbo that. Anyone else got any input on this on the wiring harness??

You didn't metion what chassis you want to swap the B18A1, but since your username is 96 EX, I'll just assume that's the chassis

That motor is OBD0, and the wiring is very different from that in your '96.

Blah I figured that lol sorry about the chassis too lol well I think I might just grab the 5speed SOHC there since itd be cheap and I already have the mounts for it. Seems like the b18a/b will be too much of a hassle since money IS a thing to think about.
