Default DH Racing Ported Head

my buddy has a 99 civic ex, he is thinking about getting a DH Racing Ported Head. the price on it is about $500 i have searched for info in this part and have not been satisfied... i was wondering if anyone has any experience with it or is knowledgeable with this product... he basically wants to know if it worth his $500..... he has i/h/e skunk 2 intake manifold, b18b throtle body.

I asked awhile ago and came up with a no.... gains that were claimed are no where in the realm of reality....

I have dyno tuned numerous dhr heads. Usual gains are 15-20 whp. There is a thread on here stock block/stock cam b18c making 183 w/ a dhr head

Well sounds like he's already spent over $1000 to get 5hp, so $500 for another 15 isn't that bad.

Like I said before I asked and got the answer of NO.... the company even said that Dave would be running 11's and put all this hype up... and he didnt... thats what I based my final decision on.... they claim lots of HP but anyone who buys the product doesnt see it....
