Dents in CF Hood
I searched and didnt find anything. I bought a Vis Oem carbon fiber hood and a week or so after I put it on it starting to get dents all over the hood and looks like it is caving in and I was wondering if this has happened to any one else who has Vis Oem hood. And was wondering how it could start caving in like it is doing?

Vis absolutely sucks for customer service. They sold me a second rate hood, I complained, took them weeks to get to me and then they responded something like I waited too long to contact them about the issue and it was too late...when it was entirely their fault.
Good luck....
Good luck....

Heh, that's good to know about ViS. Looks like I'll stay away from them. I'll stick with PasswordJDM for my CF products, may be spendy but their customer service rocks.

Yeah, if you ordered it from Password, I don't see why they wouldn't work something out with you. Leo is a good guy and knows how to treat his customers.

I've got a few very small dimples in my VIS CF hood. Doesn't really bother me much, though. For the price you pay for the hood compared to other companies its not that bad.

Wow, this has seriously made me consider buying from ViS. I was just planning on getting a used one from someone local anyways..

If any of you guys are local (MD/DC/NoVA), I have a Fiber Images CF hood for an EG hatch for sale, and it's top-notch quality. Just thought I'd throw that out there as a brand comparison

Heh, well not all of us have 1100 to drop on a hood. What about JDMshit.com are their hoods any good?

Do you know at what temprature? I'm guessing it was caused because of a hot temprature outside, and an overly hot engine. Is that correct?
