Default Delsol p/s pump on my B16 EK

About to buy an OBD-2 Power steering pump from a 97 Del Sol. Will it fit my lines in the 97 Coupe DX?

let me tell you a story..

i have a 94 del sol vtec.. i blew the motor and replaced it with a b16a first gen.. the power steering brackets looked the same but were a tad different and my stock pump didn;t fit on it. i took the brackets off my old motor and everything fit..

im saying this cuz the might look the same but still and be a litttle different.. i would ask the person if he has the brackets too..

that's good to know. All I really need now, is someone to verify the lines will bolt up.

The obd doesnt matter, its the chassis (obd2 tegs still use the same fitting as eg's), even though it coincidently happened to change design for civics, at the same time obd2 came along.
The del sol pump, therefore, will not fit.
You need a pump from any sohc 96-00 civic (ex,lx,dx)

edited misunderstanding

I was asking for OBD-2 in Civic terms. I know D-series pumps don't fit so I've answered my question. I need a 99 Si pump

You need to read this:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1822781
Yes, I know the title is different, you need to look more at the pictures.

em1 pump fittingss are the same as all 96-00 pumps...its the bracketry thats different (I didnt clarify that earlier)

Do you have a D series? Are you running the stock 97 lines?
If yes to both, you need a pump for a 96-00 civic sohc. Period. Nothing else will work.

I've read that thread and its bookmarked as far as im concerned. Look at the ninth post down, no one answered it. I decided to make a thread.

So you're saying a D-series pump with B-series brackets will fit?

It was answered...I answered it...

Youre making this SO much harder than it has to be... Youre must not be reading anything at all.

No...B brackets will not fit any D pump.

Lets just make this as simple as possible.
Post your engine, chassis, and which lines you currently have set on the car. I will then tell you, with as few words as possible, what you need.

It's all good. I was just starting to get aggitated from the negative vibes I've been hit with recently.
