Default delsol body flex. opinions on fabing some braces

not sure if this is the right forum to ask but here it goes..

well as we all know delsols suffer form bad body flex. the weak point its the floor. one solution would be fabing a subframe like the hot rod dudes. but that would sacrifice space underneath.. but what if i do inside the car.. under the seats.. using rectangular tubing welded to some brakets and bolt it on the the floor.. you guys thing it would help?

erm make the bars meet at the tunnel right before the floor slants up for the rear compartments. and then make a bar that goes under the car to tie these to together in the tunnel.

btw exactly how are you gonna make these bars considering the hump underneath the seats in the floor. clearing the seat rails seem like a challenge.

thanks for the input..

i cant really make the bar go to the tunel.. since the seat rail would be on the way..

and im planning to cut some of the hump you are talking about.so i can run the bra through it yes it also serves as rib in the frame but doesnt help much since its across not front to back..

and theres about 1 3/8s under neath the seat.. im hoping i can use a bar of that thickness.. i wouldnt mind raising the rear of the seat a lil..

and i cant really run much under the middle tunel since the linkage and exhaust run through it

I was reading an older super street the other day from like 1996 or so and they showed a slo with a 3 point roll cage that would probably help alot. Just a hoop on the back like a standard roll cage with a bar going from the middle of the top to the left part of the passenger foot area under the dash just enough to clear the glove box. Or a complete subframe connector for underneath. You need more legth than what your looking at you need to be in front and behind the tops openings. Start searching for frame connectors on the internet and look at designs for other FWD cars. They make a nice one for the neons for only a few hundred bucks maybe you can get a quote from the company that did it.
