so my buddies car blew up the b16 that was in it.

we swapped in a jdm gsr and the issue we are having is the throttle cable from the b16 is wayyyyy to long.


any one know away to make it work.

or should i just get him to order the gsr throttle cable.

ok mr dick head i did search. and the delsol cable doesnt work its about 6 inches too long. idk if this model is the vtec that came with the b 16 or if i need to find a sohc cable and use that.

well doesnt really matter any more just found out his oem gsr manifold is cracked around the number 4 runner by the injector so he will be buying a skunk 2 and using the stock cable.

...you managed to do an ENTIRE engine swap before noticing a cracked manifold?

you sure you were running the wire correctly in that case?

as far as i know all b series are interchangeable. if it was a b before it should work as a b now.
