Del Sol wont start, Please Help
Ok. So here is the details.
-Car Cranks over fine
-I checked spark by taking plugs out and grounding them and turning the motor over. They all showed spark. Does that mean the distributor is good? Or could there still be a problem in it?
-I know there is fuel, you can hear the pump and smell gas, and the plugs were wet when I took them out.
-NO cel
Where do I go from here????

where is this located? is it in the distributor?
and also, how can it be ignition related if the plugs show a spark?

I have a del sol too... I have dealt with this prob on too many occasions.
First test voltage from battery all the way through all fuses and relays.. if all seems to be good. Pull your panel off your steering colum and check the continuity on your ignition switch.
Most likely you need to replace your ignition switch if your car has any more than 100k on it.
Do not replace the entire assembly, just the switch... You can purchase a GRS ignition switch off ebay for like 50$... it will bolt up beneath your key cylinder with no modification.
If that doesnt do the trick... ever think of wiring up remote start.. or even push to start.
Relay to pass the clutch is available too.

Make sure that your firing order is correct as well
valve cover side:
distributor 4 3 2 1
distributor cap side:
firewall < 3 4 > radiator
firewall < 1 2 > radiator

Re: (portenio78)
I think it was... either the ICM or the Coil... Could I have just bought that piece from autozone or is it a honda part only. I just picked up a sohc obd1 vtec distributor from my buddy for 50 bucks. So I think thats fine.
