Where can I wire in a Power outlet?? I dont want it straight off the battery cuz then it will stay on all the time and I dont wanna have a switch.

im wiring in a box that has 4 holes for those cigarette lighter things to plug in, not a cigarette lighter but the plugs that plug into em. BASICALLY, pretend im wiring in a cigarette lighter. Cuz for some reason my car doesnt have one or wires for it.

On the fuse box under the dash, by the drivers side, there are I think 4 outputs for 12v. I think 2 are continuous (always hot) and the other 2 are on ignition (when car is on) You will need a 12v tester to figure out what is what!

what would the fuse be called? I looked for one that said ignition and there isnt one????

Hmm, thats tricky. So this box would be installed in the center console area? Do you know how much voltage it requires?

12 volts im sure, it is used run things such as my radar detector, my gtech pro meter. u know

Well, here's a more ghetto suggestion but it may do the trick. In the the little flip thing on the center console by the the ebrake(where your cig lighter should be), youll notice that there is a little light inside. This light is ALWAYS on when the car is ON. If you wanted to, you could try and tap the hotwire for that little light. I'm GUESSING it should be 12v, but Im not sure. Worth a shot

i dont have a light there, or any wires for it, tehre never was a light there

I've got the light, but I've only seen it on once... pretty strange little thing, just one of the many thing's that's annoying but I don't want to mess with it. Like it didn't work and then it did for one day and never again... voodoo car... oh well, good luck w/ your plugs
