Default Del sol wheel question.

I have a 94 del sol s model and I bought some 2000 Civic Si wheels. I tried to put them on today and they do not fit. Is the del sol a different bolt pattern from normal civics or are the wheels a different bolt pattern from normal civics. What do I have to do to make them fit, or would I be better off selling them and buying some other wheels?

They should both be the same pattern -- 4x100.

Brakes are stock. When I line the wheels up with the studs it obviously will not go. The guy I bought them off of mentioned that some del sols had a screwy bolt pattern, but I thought he was joking. Is there any truth to this?

No truth to this. The stock Del Sol bolt pattern is 4x100, same as the Civic Si. Maybe someone in your vehicle's history put on 96 spec JDM ITR brakes, 4x114.3.

If I post a picture would you all be able to tell? The rears don't fit either. They look stock to me, but this is my first honda so...

Get a ruler, and measure the distance between the centres of two opposing lugs, as shown here:

Be as precise as possible.

4 x 4.25 4 x 107.95
4 x 4.33 4 x 110
4 x 4.50 4 x 114.3
4 x 5.12 4 x 130
4 x 5.51 4 x 140
5 x 4.00 5 x 100
5 x 4.25 5 x 107.95
5 x 4.50 5 x 114.3
5 x 4.53 5 x 115
5 x 4.72 5 x 120

You should not have 2 different measurements...

4x3.75" seems too small to translate into 4x100.
4x4" seems right.

You should have no problem putting 99-00 SI's on a Del Sol S. Im pretty sure they even clear the vtec model's brakes.

Post a pic of the wheels.

are you sure you didn't get prelude si wheels? are the wheel holes farther apart than the studs are on the car?

Actually on another forum I go to they discovered they are prelude si wheels. This sucks. Anyone wanna buy them? Lol.

Thanks for your help guys. I guess mistakes will be made and even tho this one is purely cosmetic, I wanted these so bad to fit.
