I have a del sol si (d16z6, vtec, all oem with no modifications) - the exhaust system is rusting out and I'll need a new one soon.

I also have a del sol VTEC (b16a3) part car in the yard that I could take the exhaust system off of.

Has anyone ever put a del sol VTEC exhaust on a del sol Si?

I'd rather a little feedback before the time-consuming task of trying it for myself just to find out that it doesn't fit. Thanks.

I'm assuming there will be modifications required as its a SOHC car with a DOHC exhaust.

If you can manage to link up to the headers, you're golden!

So are you telling me you think it will bolt up? I'm aware that the header collector outlet is larger on the DOHC exhaust, but I'm not sure if the flange angles are the same.

And the piping for the DOHC is larger, if you didn't know that.

Yes the size is different. But the piping has all the same bends. The cat length and inlet sizes different.

Itl work with a lil modding if any at all. Damn my sol is also a b16a3 but its dead right now
