It's a B-series motor, it drops right in.

Moddify that B16A2.

Or, spend some cheese and swap a B18C5(R type motor) in.

Hasport, or place racing motor mounts, drive axles, whole bunch more ****.

Sell ur B16 block, get a B18 block and "Voila" Tq, more HP, and lots of potential.

If you're going to take that risk, you might as well just get the b20 block and get even more torque for about the same amount of cash. Oh and just a side note, the DOHC VTEC motor for the del sol is b16a3

Yes, the new Type R motor is the k20a and it CAN fit in a car, but just as a f22 CAN fit in a Civic, or a f20 CAN fit in a CRX. It spins the opposite direction than the conventional d-series and b-series motors that the del sol is used to seeing and requires special mounts for everything. I'm sure there would be a weird torque on the chasis too. I'm sure though he is referring to the b18c5 motor, or at least i hope so. If not, we may be seeing this car in a magazine.
