Del Sol turbo project!!!!!
I have a 97 del sol with a SOHC VTEC. Im trick'n the entire car out from the ground up, but here is my dilema. Should i keep the SOHC and put all new internals rebuild the thing from top to bottom in favor of holding some boost, and boost that engine, or get a b16a2 and do the same to it? Which would be more practical and cost effective, Im aiming for around 270 to 300hp to the wheels. anythoughts or ideas would be much appreciated

stock internal d16's are fine....just boost the bitch

Re: Del Sol turbo project!!!!! (quik sol)
boost the sohc, those motors are like rocks, as long as you don't run crazy amounts of boost, you should be safe. the b16a2 is going to be a little more difficult do to the compression. just depends on how much your budget allows you to do.
