Yes they changed them in 96-97 and there was a recall on all earlier models.

Do I just call up the honda dealer, and tell them to replace it?

Yeah...if theres a dealer near you just set an appointment...they might ask for your records to double check if it was done before, and they might not. But yeah it's free the first time.

also do some searches, because sol's are prone to a few leaks most of them have been covered here, and are easily remedied plus it's good to know the remedies

I was told that recalls are only valid for 10 years. So if your car is a 92-94 you are screwed.

They'll ask you for your vin number when you call, check up on it and then give you a call back. They'll also tell you if there's anything else that needs replaced.

I called up one dealer, they ask for my Vin#...and said there are no recalls...I claled up another one furhter away, they didn't ask for anything, and set up an appointment...I'm going to be pissed if I drive all the way there and tell me "it's going to be $700"

Yes, but if it has already been replaced they will not do it for free. They know by your vin#

Yep, both sides right where the targa meets the windshield. I just use spray silicone once or twice a year, and I don't have any leaks.

haha...the first one told me the same thing...the 2nd one I said "look...I talked to Bill from Brandon Honda, and he told me they had a recall on the weather stripping, and they could do my car next week. ..I was just calling to see if you could get me in any sooner"....she said "yeah, tomorrow, at 10 we have an opening"... I said "great, just to make sure, this isn't going to cost anything, right?" she said "nope!"
