Del Sol tire size question
hey, still pretty new here, but I have a question. I'm getting an awesome deal on some LS rims for my del sol, but they have 195/65 tires on them, almost brand new.. Are these tires going to be too big for my Del Sol? im sitting at stock height at the moment. Would there be any safety issues or cause any problems? thanks in advance for any answers!

Re: Tire size question
At stock height, you should be just fine. Although I would not use the 195-65's. But they should work without any issues.
If you lower the car, all bets are off.

Re: Tire size question
Yeah lol i figured.. really its just temporary because i do need new tires anyways, and with the rain coming i figure something new is better than nothing new. i was mostly just worried about them causing any other problems or issues aside from clearance. I do plan on lowering the car, but that will be on hold at either rate until after winter, so hopefully i can get some real nice new proper size tires lol

You should be fine even lowered depending on how much. it has a 12mm or so taller side wall then a 205/55/15. I have seen them on lowered Sol's.

You should use one of the hundred tire size calculators available online, or spend 5 seconds searching. You also shouldn't bump a 2 year old thread like an inconsiderate ***.
