Del Sol speedometer dead. Time to fix it!
First my Speedometer started reading about 10m over my true speed after awhile 20miles over. more time past and it became erractic then died totally. My odometer seems to work correctly.
I just changed out my trainee (ebay buy it now $60 )and it came with a different sensor so that effectively rules that out along with the fact that the odometer works.
Could it be a lost ground? How do you remove the cluster. I can't find any mention in Chilton's though they do go into great detail about the tea consumpstion in Japan.
Any help will be greatly Apreciated

In a Junkyard near you.
On the top of the cluster there is a trim peice with two screws, take those out (with the steering wheel the whole way down) pull the trim straight out by grabbing the bottom and pulling.
There are 4 screws holding the cluster in, take those out and rock it towards you so you can disconnect the 2 connectors. Then pullthe whole thing out and seperate the black housing from the white part by undoing (not breaking) the clips.
Then the speedo will come out with the 3 screws on the back.
BTW if you didn't get it your speedo head has gone south.
A junkyard cluster may be your awnser to this.
